On March 5, 2019, in accordance with 10 U.S.C § 2371b, Other Transaction Agreements have been awarded under the Training and Readiness Accelerator (TReX) for the Exercise Planning and Assessment Capability (EPAC). Three awards have been made for this prototype project:

1) 4C North America, Inc. in the amount of $2,978,532

2) Lockheed Martin Corporation in the amount of $2,788,741

3) Polaris Alpha Advanced Systems, Inc. in the amount of $4,461,17

These three vendors are only being funded through an initial Verification Event, at which point a single vendor will be chosen to complete their EPAC solution and demonstrate at a Warfighter Exercise in April 2020.

The EPAC capability will provide soldiers with a realistic, digital representation of an operational Planning, Preparing, Executing and Assessment environment within the tactical command and control systems.
